Do i have a pci-e (gen2) x16 slot

i was wanting to get a graphics card but my friend sayd i needed a pci-e (gen2) x16 slot and idk how i would find out if i had it or not, can someone tell me how i would find out, i have an old computer it is a hp pavilian a1213w if im remember correctly. so im wondering if i should just get an intire new computer all togather. and i dont even know if im in the right category so if im not plz tell me what catagory should i go to... lol

Sorry, but your pc does not have PCIe 2.0 x16 slots.
You'll have to upgrade to a new pc to use the newer graphics cards that are out.
