yes the hard drive is seen in the bios. it will alow me to partition it and i have tried 2 hard drives one IDE one sata.
try to run memtest and see if you get any errors. Use only one memory stick during install. in Bios disable temporarily the USB ports and attach the keyboard and mouse via p/s2 ports. save settings and reboot. Alternatively, you can try removing all USB peripherals and use the p/s2 ports without changing anything in bios. If no dice try going in bios>sata settings/operation > change from "RAID Autodetect / AHCI" to "RAID Autodetect / ATA".
Sometimes the media can be corrupted, as well. Are the discs original?
I ran Memory Test on bolth of my memory sticks one at a time turns out that one of my sticks is bad. so iam only using one stick for right now . but thank you very much for the help. . iam currently running win 7 64bit.
