CrossfireX disabled, fine. Re-enabled -> Black Screen -> Crash?

Yesterday I wanted to play GTA4, and had to disable Crossfire for that, when i was done, and re-enabled the Crossfire, it went to the black screen as always, but then it just froze, instead of coming back to normal. Had to reinstall drivers to get Crossfire working again.
Anyone know what my issue might be?
