Why do i see red and blue spots in my monitor

Hello,
there are 4 7mm x 20mm patches on my display.2(1 red,1 blue) in the left upper corner and 2(1 red,1 blue) in the right bottom corner.my current display is a 17"sony lcd but the problem persists even when I connected my old CRT. could it be a problem in my VGA(an old 7300GS) ?

Yes, it could be faulty card, you can try your old card in different PC, if the same problem appears then you got a bad card there...
