I recently bought this which is a dual molex to 6 pin pci-e adapter. I just realised it only has 2x 12v (yellow) cables where a standard one that comes from a psu it self has 3x 12v (yellow) cables fitted singly in each lane in the bottom row. Is it ok to plug it in normally to say a HD 4850 when it is missing the middle cable of 12v? Also why is there a 2x 5v (red) cables going to the middle slot top row? or do these count as ground since on the molex side it is in the ground lane. If not should i be putting the the red cables on the molex 5v (red) lane?

Any help would be appreciated!

Molex-to-6pin works perfectly, I use one myself. Don't worry too much about the colours.
