Looking for a new motherboard around $125 CAD

Hi all,

A while back I bought a Compaq CQ5521F for use at home. As time went on, I began to game more and more on it. I eventually bought myself a GTX 560 as well as a new PSU. I am looking to upgrade my processor and motherboard and get some new DDR3 RAM. I’ve decided on an AMD Phenom II X4 965, however I have yet to decide on a motherboard. I am looking for a fairly cheap motherboard around $125. I do not plan on overclocking, but I would like to be able to upgrade the processor later if I desire.

I am looking at this model after it was suggested to me. Asus M4A89GTD

I will do most of my shopping at Canada Computers. I am wondering which of the motherboards will be the better buy. Is there anything else that would be better for the price? Thanks for your time

The Evo would be the better buy, it's an AM3+ socket which means if Piledriver (updated BD) doesn't suck. You'll be able to upgrade to it.

ASRock 970 EXTREME4 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX would be even better, as you can run SLi, or X-Fire.
