Hi all,

Would something like these works fine with HX 650?

APS sua1500rmi2u

APS DLA1500RMI2U

value 1500e lcd

What cable should I get to connect HX650 to a UPS?
Do Corsair need specific cable? Or something like this should suffice?

Cable

Any quality product to recommend?

I noticed that something like this:
BELKIN BE112230-08
Provides +3000 Joules??? Should I connect that to a UPS as well? Because a UPS doesn't provide that much protection.

Thank you. :pt1cable:

As you probably know, UPS stands for "Uninterrupted Power Supply" and is different from a Surge Protector.

Unclean power can result from surges, spikes, and sags - these are all different, and all are bad and must be minimized.

The Belkin power strip that you have linked has 3,000 Joules of protection against spikes. The other links don't open.

The APC systems are good and size it to be about 100% of the computer's power requirements; not the PSU. (The PSU may have a power rating higher that what what the computer actually needs).

Any standard computer connector power cable may be used to connect the UPS to the PSU (HX-650). Corsair does not require any special cable.

There is no problem in connecting the Belkin to the UPS. Belkin ---> UPS ---> Corsair HX-650
OR
UPS ---> Belkin ---> Corsair HX-650

I corrected the links.

Yes I wanted to connect like this:

Belkin ---> UPS ---> Corsair HX-650

But I noticed that in most UPS I need a IEC cable.
