Sound card recommendation`

i have a gigabyte p55-ud3 mobo and was wanting to get an upgraded sound card. willing to pay around 50 for it. any recommendations? thanks

For $50, your options are a bit limited, though there are some good cards. Specifically, I'd look at the ASUS Xonar DG and ASUS Xonar DS.

If you're willing to spend a bit more, then I highly recommend either the ASUS Xonar D1/DX or the HT Omega Striker.
