GPU Computing

I need 3-4 workstations for a research lab. The budget is 12k USD. The systems HAVE to be pre-built and have to be CUDA 2.0+ compatible.
Which companies offer these solutions?
Quadro or GTX? (I think Tesla 20s are out of my budget but I would look into them anyway.)

GTX is for gaming, but could still work, the only difference between GTX and Quadro is the drivers. The Quadro drivers are built for workstation applications, the GTX for gaming.

So if I were to compare the GTX 480 vs Quadro 6000. Will the Quadro's specialized drivers beat the GTX 480 even though it has 32 less CUDA cores?
