Hello,

I am looking to buy and build a new computer:
Gigabyte M52LT-D3
AMD64 PhenomII 1055T 2.8GHz X6
2GB 1333MHz DDR3 stick
Palit GeForce GTX460 Platinum 1GB
500GB Western Digital 3.5" 7200rpm

What I would like to know is:
1. How many watts would be optimum
2. How many amperes would be optimum?
3. Are all of these parts compatible with eachother? (e.g; Do they all fit together properly?)

Thank you,
Nathaniel

Negative on
Gigabyte M52LT-D3
NForce 5xx chipset:
1. HT Limitation when a socket AM3 chip is slotted in
2. Still essentially on AM2 tech i.e PCIex16 gen 1.0/1.1 lanes, true AM2+ had migrated to PCIex16 gen 2.0 as of 2008

* If you install AMD AM3 on this motherboard, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0 (5200MT/s) to HT1.0 (2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM3 CPU will not be impacted. Please refer "CPU Support List" for more information.
In any case only 95W TDP Thubans are supported under "CPU Support"
