I am looking for the real-world IOPS numbers for SSDs (4k or 8k random read and write).
There appear to be many different ways and variations of obtaining the IPOS value. Queue Depth seems to be a big one. Do manufacturers use a default Queue Depth when providing their IOPS numbers?
What is a way to find equivalent IOPS numbers, so SSDs can be compared apple-to-apples.
I'm guessing the first link through Tom's Hardware is good. Are there any that are more expansive and have SSDs from 2013?
Case In Point Samsung SSD 840 series, 120GB (MZ-7TD120)
Random Read Speed Up to 85K IOPS
Random Write Speed Up to 32K IOPS
