GIGABYTE P35C how to set up different RAM

Hi, I bought 2x2Gb OCZ PC2-6400 Gold Edition DDR2 for my GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R with 2x2GB Kingston KHX6400D2K/4G. I put them together and my Computer freezes on the WELCOME screen of WiN 7 64bit. How set the RAM in Bios ?
Here the screen of CPU-Z OCZ first (separately) Kingston second

  1. First, it's not a good idea to Mix-Match RAM: Frequency, CAS, Type (including Brand/different IC's). No Guarantees.

    Specs - ref
    4 x 1.8V DDR2 DIMM sockets supporting up to 8 GB of system memory
    Dual channel memory architecture
    Support for DDR2 1066*/800/667 MHz memory modules

    DDR2-667 5-5-5-15-20 @1.80v
    DDR2-667 5-5-5-15-20 @1.80v
    DDR2-667 5-5-5-15-20 @1.80v

    5 CAS
    5 RAS to CAS
    5 RAS PRE
    15 tRAS
    20 tRC

    CPU: | New | Old | empty | New | Old | empty |

    Channel 0: DDRII1, DDRII2
    Channel 1: DDRII3, DDRII4

    System Memory Multiplier -> 2 ; 2 * 333MHz = 667MHz
    Memory Frequency (Mhz) 667 ; verify Frequency
    DRAM Timing Selectable -> Manual
    CAS Latency Time -> 5
    DRAM RAS to CAS -> 5
    DRAM RAS PRE -> 5
    tRAS -> 15
    ??? tRC -> 20 ; {Row Cycle Time} minimum tRC = tRAS + tRP ; your manual I downloaded has no Timing info. You BIOS 'should' calculate a safe value.
    DDR2 /DDR3 OverVoltage Control -> +0.10v ; optional but often helps with 4x_GB

    Save & Exit = Yes
  2. Big Thanks it works :hello: System Memory Multiplier was the main thing in setting what I missed. :bounce:
  3. Glad to hear! :sol:
