ETA on when Sandy Bridge CPU and Mobo sales?

Off topic, But I have a GTX 260 and a Q6600 @ 3.3 Ghz
I get 30 FPS in World of Warcraft during raids, and 100+ everywhere else.

I would like to get 60 FPS where a lot of things happen on screen, but my budget is around $600

What do you think I should do, I would like to upgrade now, but I don't think getting something like a GTX 570 will help me

Powerful Gfx card, Or decent i5/i7 setup, Or wait for SB?

Edit: Nevermind, I was able to snag a good 1155 MB, Thanks anyways

He meant that he was able to get an 1155 mainboard from a good manufacturer.

The fixed Cougar Point chipset isn't available yet.

OP:
The GTX 570 would make more difference to your gaming than an upgraded CPU. If you can do both, even better.

I was going to wait, but im sick of waiting. Im buying everything for my new gaming rig. I will just buy a 955 BE and a low end mobo. I will upgrade when the new E series comes out.

Why would you do that a 955 BE is a waist. At least build an I7 950 or something at least with that you might have the option to grab a 6 core processor a year from now or even still in a year a 1366 platform will maintain its value a year from now and it could be sold to build a 2011 setup. The 955BE is getting cheaper and cheaper it would be a bad choice if you look at it as an investment.

Im getting everything I normally would have except im getting the low end 955BE and a lower end ASUS mobo. I make alot of money so buying the new "E" series chipset wont burn a hole in my pocket. If the "E" series isnt worth the money, then I will get a sandy bridge setup in 4 or 5 months maybe. I am just sick of waiting and I really dont want to wait another month or so. It all depends. If I here anything else out to halt my purchase then I will see where it goes from there.

Can I use a normal HDD in the marvel controller?, Not interested in a speed loss, just wondering if it works, I have 2 Normal HDD's one SSD and a DVD burner, so thats why I was wondering.

Same question applies as normal, can I use regular hard drives in 6.0 GB ports?
