Save a few dollars and just get the 1055T, you wont really notice a difference.

what is the computer being use for? Gaming? Phenom quad will be a better choice.

As for the RAM, its fine, but im always weary of 1.65V ram for some reason xD

My system is mostly used for gaming. I was looking at the hex core because of turbo core, but after looking at some of the articles tom's has done I will get a 955 instead. I will not be upgrading the motherboard, would most likely use the difference between the 1090t and the 955 to get another 5770 later.

I just got FS X and was wondering if the game actually uses more than four cores or would it be better to have a higher clock rate? Basically i'm back to either the 1090T or the 955?
