Dear Experts ,

Mainly for career perspective to run CPU process demanding applications (60% usage by me for this work) and also for watching Full HD Movies(20% usage) and video editing/converting(20% usage).

After long thinking with strict and strict budget constraint, I have chosen below configuration for my Destkop PC.

Please advice if this configuration is acceptable, please provide your valuable suggestions/feedback :??: . Thanks you very much.

Configuration as below:

1. Intel Core i5 760 , 2.8GHz, 4 Core / 4 Thread
2. DH55HC Intel H55 Chipset motherboard
3. 4 GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM (Two 2 GB)
4. 500GB SATA Seagate 7200rpm, 32MB Cache
5. <Still Searching Graphics card just for video editing and watching Blu Ray movies / Full HD Movies for budget of USD $50>
6. <Still searching what ATX cabinet to choose for budget of USD $45>

Also, if you can advise me on point 5 & 6, i would be more and more happy.....

GT 240 or the GT 430 would be fine for Blu Ray Movies.

For ATX Cabinet : I would suggest the Storm Scout, but you can spend a few more dollars for the Rosewill Challenger.

Hii Altair and Vindictive, Thanks,

but in my local shop Storm Scout or Antec are not available.
The names i heard available are iball, CoolMaster, Zebronics, Corsair and few others.

Please let me know which to choose and what should be the wattage capacity of the SMPS.

Hi Vindictive,

RAM brand i am planning is to get Hynix or Transcend., But you please suggest me a good reliable and faster one and i will definitely choose that.

GPU not decided yet, bcoz i am still confused which to buy for that strict budget of $50 - $60.

Why i want graphics card is bcoz
1) My processor i5 760 which i am planning to buy doesnt have integrated graphics memory.
2) Resolution i don't know, i am planning to buy monitor of 18.5 inch or 20+ inch, i don't know the resolution card to choose with respect to monitor.
3) I have to watch Full HD / Blu Ray movies
4) Also for video editing(just only in rare cases)
