Hey guys! So recently i decided to benchmark my GPU with 3DMark Vantage and the results i got were really bad. I got 9000 for my 5870. My specs are..

CPU: i7 950 D0 @ 4.0GHz
GPU: Sapphire 5870
HDD: WD 1TB Caviar Black
PSU: Crosair HX750
RAM: Crosair 6GB DDR3 1600 MHz

I don't think there is any bottleneck in my system. Oh and i'm using 10.9 catalyst drivers. Is it a bad card? idk i read on another thread of someone with the same problems but that thread died....

Oh and another question...What are the power saving features that i can turn off for my i7 for OCing?
first time im gonna OC an i7 :p

Well, do some gaming to see what fps did you get, don't rely too much on benchmark...
You can try the older drivers like 10.3, 10.4 or 10.8, see if that help increasing your Vantage result... :)

Played a battle in Napoleon: Total War on the highest settings with 2x AA and with V-Sync turned around 35FPS most of the time. MW2 Max 4x AA no v-sync = 150fps. Dirt 2 max settings 8xMSAA no v-sync = 74FPS

Okay, that's seems right to me... :)

What resolution did you played at? Full HD monitor?
If yes then your score (fps) is about right.
September 28, 2010 3:20:29 PM its Vantage GPU Score is 18k LOL!

Okay, your score is great.
Your specs are good and the result from gaming are great too...
Don't worry too much about that benchmarking. :)
