ASUS motherboard dram and memory

Dram light came on and system would not boot to Windows screen. With the help of this board, memory sticks were likely bad. The system would boot up with only 1 memory stick not the two that were installed. 2ea 2gb of ram. Bought 2 ea new memory sticks and computer booted up to Windows screen. However, the mouse was jerky and keyboard might miss some. Tried another brand of memory but mouse still jerky. Replaced keyboard and mouse recently. Thanks for any help.

Which M4A87TD board - USB3 AM3, or EVO? What ram are you using? Brand and exact model? Make sure they are in the correct slots and seated correctly.

Motherboard USB3.
Ram Kingston DDR3 1600 cl9 240- khx1600c9d3k2/4gx- 4gb memory kit-2ea 2gb sticks.
The sticks are installed from left to right on motherboard in 1st and 3rd slots.

I have found Asus mobos to be very RAM sensitive. That being said I doubt that is impacting the mouse or keyboard. Run Memtest86+ from a floppy, CD or flashdrive to check the new RAM is working properly.

seiing that u have a asus board u can attempt to memok just a thought even know that might not do anything.
