Here's a tip for those with the E4300. Be aware that this mod will void your warranty like no ones business especially if you screw it up. Before attempting this, make sure you have the orientation of the chip correct, and you know which pins you are connecting.
I performed this mod nearly 4 years ago. e4300 using 1333 with tape and copper to 3ghz!!!!. after running stable 24x7 with speedstep ON and no voltage mods and no bios settings. this was truly a special processor. so i guess any naysayers look like fools. i never had a bluescreen or any instability and the chip transcoded probably 30TB of video.
anyway i psudo-bump this thread out of respect for the greatest cpu mod ever.
