Keyboard works at login but not after

Hi,

I have HP dv6000 laptop and I can use my keyboard to enter password on login screen but once logged in the laptop keyboard does not respond.

I tried removing the battery for few minutes and putting it back but that does not help. I tried using external usb keyboard but that also does not work.

I am running out of ideas. If someone has any more suggestion I will really appreciate any feedback.

Try to enter the system in Safe Mode.

Hi,

Check the USB keyboard settings in BIOS. If it's disabled, enable it. After that connect
the external keyboard to be sure it's working.
