Mother Board Which supports both RAM, DDR II and DDR 3.

I want to purchase a MotherBoard Which supports both RAM, DDR II and DDR 3, and it also supports DDR II RAM and Quad core processor.

i am using DG965ry mobo <Limited core 2 due processor> and have DDRII (4gb) Ram with 800 bus, and core 2 due e6320 processor.


i want to purchase quad core processor only due to shortage of money, thatsway i need a board that supports DDR II RAM and I can run my cpu after changing only processor form core 2 due to quad core.

Which Intel? The newer cpus only work with ddr3 due to the motherboard chipset, which you can't change. The core2 duos can work with ddr2 or ddr3 on a few boards.

Huh? Jan 1, 1970 was on a Thursday and simple pocket calculators were'nt even availabe until late 1971 and cost $150. Internet?

My Foxconn x38 board does this, as do some P35 Asus P5K boards. You probably can't find any new ones, but some used ones might.

Realistically it isn't feasible.
Even if you source a 775 mobo with DDR2/DDR3 you can only use one or the other not both.
Either you make the leap to a new platform or keep what you have.
