Turning off page file

I've got 16 gig's of RAM and I'm thinking what would be the disadvantages of turning the page file off. I know an advantage would be having not to access the HD and not having that slow me down. I was just wondering the disadvantages of not having a page file at all besides the possibility of running out of RAM space. Thanks in advance!

I run 16 gb and love it; I haven't seen any side effects of turning off page file. I use an agility 3 60 gb ssd, so I need the extra space.
