XFX and Corsair using the same platforms, could be interesting

Corsair is releasing a new line of TX units called the TX V2 series based on seasonic platform, this time around instead of the CWT PSH and later PSH II that the first gen TX units were, they are going to be using the exact same platform as the XFX core units are which speaks highly for XFX choice of platform from seasonic. I see some good units coming in our future, and some even better prices, especially since the XFX core units and the Corsair TX V2 units will be effectively identical internally.

I think it still remains to be seen if they will release any nice lower powered units like a 550W, but i think for now its nice to see them entering the market on solid designs for decently strong units and not starting with crappy low powered units or really high powered ones.

Now, since they are both using the same platform the performance is pretty much identical so the pricing would be pretty much identical, but im kinda hoping for a price war with XFX using rebates on their units like they did with the 650W modular ones.

So what do you guys think of the XFX units? Think XFX will take aspot alongside corsair as one of the most trusted PSU brands soon?
