Hi, I have decided to build a new system - i7.

I bought the GTX 460 graphics card already.

Now I want to get the components are as follows:

3.06GHz Intel Core i7 950 (Bloomfield) (Socket LGA1366)

Asus P6X58D-E Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 PCI-Express Motherboard

Trident G. SKILL 6GB (3x2GB) Triple Channel Kit DDR3 PC3-16000C9 2000MHz

I am quite satisfied with the processor and motherboard choice, but I am still open to suggestions.I want to use around 4 GHz processor, Therefore the motherboard must have overclocking capabilities. Also I heardthere are some ram recognition problems with Gigabyte models.

So I am not certain about memory choice, but I need 2000 MHz memory, I am open to suggestions with the brand.

The reason I chose the memory above is because, it is supported by the motherboard from Asus.

If I choose another brand memory will there be problem, what happens in this case?, your suggestion?

Finally I already got my OCZ 600 watts PSU, I think to continue to use it, do you think it is enough for this systemI would be most appreciative.

Asus X58 Sabertooth.

600W is enough unless your planning to SLI.

Usually memory isn't a problem, sometimes you will just have to manual set the voltage and timings in the bios.
