HDD - scratched SATA connector

I bought a hard drive and the SATA connector (the small data one, not the big power connector) has a scratch on one of the gold strips.

How bad is this? Is there any chance that it will corrupt my data?

Does the scratch go all the way thru the contact?

Have you tried it on your computer? Does it work normally?

I have copied about 100gb of files to it and all the hash (MD5) values match. CHDSK /r also passes.

The scratched part is still gold so I assume it doesn't go through.

Is it a ground pin or a data pin?

Examine the SMART report for UDMA CRC Errors.

It's pin #5 / B- / Receive-. Nothing in UltraDMA CRC Error count.
