4 pin case fans

I had no problem with my first build, not as many fans, so this case is a challenger by rosewill, it has two fans that are big 4 pins, the front one and the 140mm top one, i understand they are to be plugged into the psu, my question is, do I need to plug in both male and female plugs or use just one or the other, just not real sure
