Hard Drive not recognized by XP PC

My computer does not recognize my Seagate GoFlex HDD. It does recognize thumb drives. My wife's PC recognizes the HDD. What to do next? I may have deleted software when I was trying to get rid of Delta Search that came with a free download. Device manager sees it.

Thanks for suggestions

More about hard drive recognized
  1. does disk management see it?
  2. Check if disk manager sees it. If it does, assign it a drive letter and you should be in business.

If not, try plugging it into a different USB port.
  3. What size is the GoFlex drive?

You may need to add exFat support: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=19364
  4. You may need to assign a new letter for it in "Disk Management":
