How much heat can SATA cables take?

Hey everyone,

I've got my Sata cables connected to my mobo right underneath the back end (power supply connector) side of my 4890. I have one connector that is not touching the card but is probably 1/2 a millimeter away from it. My question is how much heat can these cables take and will it affect performance and/or integrity of data? Thank you.

Should be fine I would not worry about it as long as it is not hot enough to melt it which it shouldn't be it will be fine. It should not affect data speeds at all.
