4gb at 800mhz vs 6gb at 533mhz

i have a question i need to know if my computer will be faster if i pop in a couple of old 1GB 533Mhz sticks i have sitting around or if i should just stick with my two 2GB 800Mhz sticks the latency and timings are the same for both sets and if what im reading around the net is accurate im going to assume that the 6gb will be faster?

i have the cpu overclocked to 2.8Ghz.

If you have a 64 bit OS then having 6GB ram is going to be more of an advantage than not noticeably faster 4GB ram. If you are on 32 bit OS it can only address 4GB.
None matching sticks can create compatibility issues so beware.

oh yea i for got to say that i do have a 64 bit os
so i might as well try them out if they dont work out its still easy to pull them back out.
