Which of these AMD CPU/MOBO combo's should I go with?

Should I get the phenom II X2 or Athlon II X4? which Motherboard is best? could I unlock the phenom of any of them?

To make an informed suggestion, we should know what you use your computer for.
On the other hand, I've just swapped a dual core for a 6 core, and I love it.

im not shur on the unlocking part, but buying a 4 core processor will be more future proof, what usage are u gonna use it, but honestly 4 cores is all better than 2 cores, future games will be coded to use 4 cores, but honestly the 4 core amds are not much more expensive than the 2 cores, cheers
