As a matter of fact, I actually tried three versions of the install. I
actually bought a retail DVD (the new editor's choice one) just this past
week so that I could have the DVD version. 6 CD's got to be a pain in the
ass to keep together.
Anyhow, I tried to install from the CD's, the DVD, and a version I
downloaded way back when the game first dropped. All give the same odd
reboot. So now I'm figuring a hardware problem so I begin to check there.
Meantime I still keep playing Far Cry, Doom 3, Half-Life 2 maxxed out with
no problems. It's not a heat issue because these games stress as much as UT.
I am really stuck.
