I just built a new gaming computer. The performance is good, but there are a number of problems. Some problems include my 5870 idling at 50c. Things got so hot in there I had to remove one 5870. I have good airflow, and do not know why it is doing this. Second problem is the one that is really bothering me. I leave my computer on overnight because I am downloading things from steam or other programs. When I wake up in the morning I will see a message saying windows has recovered from a unexpected shut down, cause blue screen. At that time I had my computer set to never go to sleep. Now I have it set to after 2hours my computer goes to sleep. When I wake the computer up I see the lights, but then it just shuts down. When I resume windows it gives me the same message. I am not sure if it is a blue screen from the 2hours it was idle or when I woke the computer up. I am about to rage quit this computer, and play my xbox all day.

http://hcidesign.com/memtest/purchase.html. Check this site and do a memtest, see if you have a bad memo stick or dimm slot. Idling at 50 is pretty much normal. My gpu idles at 59, underload 79 at 33 degress ambient. My cpu (Stock, not overclocked) used to idle at 49, underload at 65 at 33 degress ambient (default fan) pretty much normal. Also check your CPU temp at idle and at underload, see if anything unusual
