$1500 build need advice?

I need some advice on a new build roughly $1500 maybe a little more
main uses, most to least important
Gaming, schooling, surfing

Parts Not Required Monitor, Speakers, OS
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Im in Australia so ive been looking at www.pccasegear.com
Country of Origin: Australia
Parts Preferences:by brand or type: None Preferably Full Tower (have been looking at the Haf X)
Overclocking: Yes/ Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe Later
Monitor Resolution:1920x1080
Additional Comments: Window and Quiet (it will be in a medium sized room)

^ Couple of months ? Probably after January ? If Yes, then it would be a good idea to wait before deciding on the parts as Intel is going to launch their new SandyBridge CPUs, that would replace the current i5s in the same price range...
Also Nvidia and AMD are going to lauch their improved graphic cards in a months time, so keep your options open,...
As for the case, even mid towers like HAF 922 offer lot of space and airflow, so first select the best parts to go inside the case and then decide on the case...
