Greetings.

I am looking to upgrade my current Nvidia 8500gt piece of crap to something with a little more bite. I also want to be able to play movies, Hulu shows etc.. from my PC to the HD flat HDMI flat panel TV.

I have this motherboard and am running XP.
ASUS M3N78-VM AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8200 HDMI Micro ATX AMD
Trying to keep it under $200

I want to stay away from Nvidia if I can help it. They have no customer service whatsoever.
From what I understand, I don't need a TV card, just an HDMI to HDMI cable, provided the new graphic card has it.

Thanks in advance.

What's your CPU, RAM, Power Supply?

An ATI 5770 would be my early choice for you.

I double checked, this motherboard does support PCI-E 2.0, so PCI-E 2.1 video cards will work just fine.
