Hi,
Toshiba Satellite 1800, Windows XP SP2. System was working fine before
SP2 installation after which it started hanging and showing the ACPI
error in system log, so i upgraded the BIOS. Now the system does not
boot at all. The power LED comes on after pressing the power button but
does just stops there; nothing on screen; after a while the CPU fan
comes on. Any idea what could be wrong.
Thanks,
Ammar

Did this happen immediately after upgrading the BIOS? A corrupted
upgrade of the BIOS usually stops a system from running.
