Hello,

I recently upgraded my desktop from vista 32 to 7 executive 32. Now everything works fine until I install the graphics card drivers,(either from auto update, or direct from Nvidia) after the restart it will freeze on the animated windows logo screen, also all power is lost to USB devices eg mouse, keyboard, however the computer is still running. I can restore back to before the drivers too for full access, any help would be much appreciated.

My setup is a

Medion md8824
Intel core 2 duo processor e4300
Geforce 9400 gt
2gb DDR2 ram

Thanks for reading

Try to go into the nvidia driver archive and get a slightly older driver. See if that works. if it does. Contact Nvidia to let them know and it should be fixed in the next release.

I remember many issues from Nvidia drivers in the early vista days(even after SP1 was out). Going back a driver revision or 2 always got me going again.

There is also a beta you may try.

EDIT....wiinippongamer so beat me to it

Yeh I thought about it, but can't seem to find older versions on Nvidia website, you know of a place that hosts older versions? Thanks for the reply =)
