Workstation and Desktop graphics in same computer

Hello,
Is it possible to use a workstation graphics card and a desktop graphics card in the same computer? I have a 4870 but would like to take advantage of the better rendering of a workstation card. Didn't know if they could peacefully coexist. I tried the ATI site but their KB was unhelpful and I didn't see a link to ask any of their support personnel directly.

I donot think that is possible.Workstation and mainstream gpu uses different drivers.You cannot crossfire them.
