Black Friday AMD Build - Compatable? Better Builds for the money?

Last response: in Systems

I am re-listing my build as I did not get much response and would like to get a computer before the first of the year so I can take it off of this years taxes! And Black Friday & Cyber Monday is just around the corner.

I would like to get your advice on putting together a build to get in the next few days. My idea is to get a list of parts that work together and maybe pick up some good deals on Black Friday or cyber Monday. Any advice or better builds would be greatly appreciated.
Approximate Purchase Date: next 7 to 10 days
Budget Range: 600-800 Before Rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: surfing the internet, some very light gaming, watch some movies
Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse and speakers
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: NewEgg would be my first pick....but open to better deals
Country of Origin: USA
Parts Preferences: I would like good brands
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: No video card....but may add one later if needed
Here are some of the parts that I have been looking at for a potential build. I am thinking onboard video right now and get a video card later if it is just too slow.

LITE-ON DVD writer ( I am thinking of getting a Blu Ray when the price falls or go for a Blu Ray if there are great deals on Black Friday) [...] 6827106334 $21.99

Rosewill DESTROYER Black Gaming ATX Mid Tower (I really like the looks of this case...and lots of fans) [...] 6811147144 $49.99

SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB (I hope this will be on sale, it seems to go for $50 often) [...] 6822152185 $69.99

ASUS VH236H Black 23" 2ms(GTG) HDMI (Is this a good monitor for the price?) [...] 6824236059 $189.99 less $20 rebate

OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W PS [...] 6817341022 $64.99

AMD Athlon II X3 445 Rana 3.1GHz (I think this a good bang for the buck processor plus I plan to use the heatsink) [...] 6819103872 $73.99

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and GIGABYTE GA-880GA-UD3H AM3 AMD 880G HDMI [...] mbo.552609 $174.98 less $10 rebate

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 ( I chose this because it was on the list of tested memory by Gigabyte. [...] 6820231189 $63.99

Sub total: $709.91
Shipping: $8.99

TOTAL: $718.90 and if the rebates come through it will be even better!!!

....Will these parts work together?
....Do I need any thing else, like cables, etc?
....Any other suggestions for better parts or less cost?

Thank you,

Thanks...I took a quick look and did not see any really great deal. I will check it out again after turkey and take a closer look.

If you look at Batuchka's build you'll see it has RAM for 49.99 and a 1TB HDD for 54.99. Also the Fermi 460 for 114 after MIR. That's the type of thing I was referring to.

Hmm u did state light gaming but pls note that @ 1920 x 1080 no current IGP would cut it and i would say thats a tad high a pricepoint for just a Rana X3 + IGP so...

$644AR Grand Total

As usual, you seem to come up with great deals! Less money than my build with a Video Card included. I will check it out...I just finished turkey so I need to digest a little.
