Moving OS

So I built my computer, but didn't have money for a hard drive just then so I got a cheap 80GB hard drive for temporary use until I ordered my WD Black 1TB. Well, I have my WD now, and I would like to move Windows 7 over to it (if it'll make a difference in performance). Currently I'm using the WD for storage. I'm assuming this will make games and such run faster. I'm noticing Firefox sometimes freezes up and when I play Skyrim it will occasionally freeze up as well. Also, will I have to back up everything on my HDs, or will I be able to install Windows on the WD without losing my files currently on it?

CPU: Intel Pentium G860
GPU: HIS Radeon HD 7770
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1600MHz

You can clone your 80GB HDD to the WD1TB using the software available at WD's website under the Support tab - it should be the WD version of Acronis True Image. After you clone the original HDD, use Acronis to re-size the partition on the WD 1TB to its original size.
