I was recently trying to install chromium os on my external hard drive and when i booted my computer of my external hard drive to run chromium (and honestly i had no idea what i was doing) and there was a crash screen. When i turned on my computer i ran windows and i checked my external hard drive and it was two different disks a .99 GB disk and a 15.8 MB disk - My hard drive is supposed to be a 500 GB. Thanks

  1. Go into Disk Management and delete the two partitions that were created by right-clicking each one in turn and choosing "Delete Volume".

Then right-click again and choose "Create new simple volume".
Right-click the new volume and choose "Format".

Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management
