Hi all I have a Toshiba p855-s5200 with a DVD Writer Model SN-208. I have Intel Graphics on the system and want to upgrade the sata Drive to a Blu-ray. I have searched and found loads of blu ray internal drives that look just right for my Laptop anything I should keep into consideration before doing this?

I dont know if it still applies but make sure it is Toshiba compatible. I replaced a toshiba dvd drive one time and it would not work after some googleing I found out the toshiba slaves their drives different and I had to take the dvd drive apart and place a bead of solder to short 2 pins that would alow it to be read and show up in the bios.

Does that make any sense? Like I said I dont know if they still do that it was an older toshiba laptop.

It kinda does but this is the one that says toshiba on it : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261180069172?ssPageName=STRK:...

I take it I would be safe then.so All I have to do is screw this attachment from the existing one to the new one and the cap for it and this should work out ok?
