in my area the 5670 1gb ddr5 sells for 6000 INR while the 4830 512mb ddr3 for 6500 INR. at 1366*768 resolution which is the better buy?

id go for the 5670. Might perform slightly lower, but you get all the DX11 goodies!

And wh3resmycar makes a good point, too; The HD5670 is far too slow to use DX11 in any game currently out there.

Not all 5xxx series cards are worth getting "because they do DX11". As coozie7 pointed out, the HD5670 is too slow/weak to actually enable any of the DX11 goodies it technically supports.

Honestly, to actually use DX11 you don't want anything less than a GTX 460 or ATI 5830/5850 in my opinion. I'd suggest following ct1615's recommendation based on your power supply capabilities.

sry for my late port here guys....
DX11 is not the way 2 go i think... and i still game in winxp.(dx9)
and i got the HD4770 as i saw its performance is better than both... thanks guys for your sugg anyways

oh.. 1 more thing.. is the GTS 250 much better dan my 4770 at 1366*768 ??
i kind of ditched the 250 as it was 500 buks more....
