Are these two parts the same? If so why has price dropped so much?

are they the same product and if so why did price drop so much in just 2 months?

Looks like it's the same stuff. Name and model number matches anyway. Also, if you notice the popular extras on the Overview tab, the CPU and mainboard are also the ones from that TH article.

RAM prices go by cycles, and right now it's on the way down. It will probably bottom out very soon and start back up again.
