I probably won't be using Crossfire for awhile...first time builder and just want to keep things simple for now. The 5870 is pretty good though yeah?

Wow. :o  You read my mind. I put that together today lol. I already have the harddrive though and I won't be needing a cooling fan since I plan on getting the cooler master. I also might try and wait week 3 weeks for the new ati 6900 series cards, but they are probably going to break the bank. I'll probably end up with the 5870. I don't know about overclocking.

Except I'm going to try: Corsair Professional Series Gold High Performance 850-Watt Power Supply CMPSU-850AX

I'm going to get thermal gel for the cpu also.

With the 6gb of ram, what OS are you using? I'm assuming its 64bit windows 7. Is the corsair 750 watt psu strong enough for this setup and I'm wasting my money with the 850w or should I stick with the 750w? Thats a big price difference.

Operating System will be Windows 7 64-bit. I think the 750 W is enough but I could be completely wrong lol. Which is why i'm asking for help first

Well my biggest question is will the motherboard/cpu/ram/video card all be compatible with each other?

And will the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler that I have be enough cooling with my tower? Or should i just use the cooler that comes with the CPU? (I hear they're not so good though)
