i have a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum 939 socket motherboard bought a EVGA GeForce GTS 450 SuperclockedPART NUMBER: 01G-P3-1452-TR will this card work on this board i think will would like some advice plzs.thanks

it should work because you have a pci express x 16. the only issue is that it is only 1.0 compliant. I know the GTS 450 is 2.0 but most will work because pci express is supposed to be backwards compatible but i know some ppl need to do a bio update to make sure. with a quick check I see your mobo hasn't had a new bio's since 2006 and pci-e 2.0 came out in 2007. i would say it should work but if it doesn't i wouldn't blame the video card. what card are you running now? if it is anything made in the last few years i would say your good to go.

Yes, as long as that card is 2.0 then you'll be fine, don't worry about that...

You may run into some performance issues though, I did when I replaced my 7900's with 8800's on a s939 x2. Even running just one card at 16 x 10 caused the CPU to choke.
