Last response: in Storage

I reformatted my 32GB USB flash drive .... now it says "available: 31GB"..... It can save 5MB files, but when I tried to save a 5GB file it says: "item can't be copied because it is too large for the volume's format.... Any suggestions?

I would appreciate answers. Thank you in advance!

Reformat in NTFS to get around the FAT32 file size limit.

edit: and if you are using it on Windows and Mac, you could give exFAT a try.

No matter what you decide to do, you should remember to back up your important data at first.
