Bad block

Hello, Can I write an autoexec.bat program to skip over a certain block on the hard drive that is bad. Dell 17r n7010 - window 7 home prem. 500 MB HD WD-blue OEM

chkdsk find the bad block then ask me do I want to continue checking and I say yes but it will not continue with chkdsk. It just freezes on the bad block

Take that as a warning to back up your data and replace the hard drive before it fails completely.

Yeah! You should back up your data as soon as possible in case of data loss.
