I bought a nvidia geforce 210 card but when plugged in the bios startup screen is uullttrraa ssllooww and adds 1 char per sec. so i figure the card is not compatible with the MB. But not sure if it's the 350W power supply.

I've been really happy with this MB GA-G33M-S2H. Never a hiccup in 3 yrs running Q6600 at 289MHz.
I've set the BIOS back to optimal default but same response with the geforce 210.

Can anyone make a suggestion for a compatible graphics card for this MB. I'm not into gaming but would like to run 3 monitors for trading.

thanks in advance

I uninstalled the video drivers and then installed the new card. same result ultra ultra slow boot. The video card works but not the computer.
i went to gigabyte site and they have a list of compatible videos cards.
I'm going to buy one of the nVidia cards listed below.
Do any of these do 3 monitors?
Low power consumption would be my main requirement.
thanks from steve

just go and get the GT 240 ddr5 you will get 2 monitor display. The card will run on a good 300W PSU easily.

Or an ati HD 5670 with some extra money, this can give you 3 monitor support and requires 350W PSUs
For manufacturers I only recommend MSI and XFX and may be EVGA

Note:These cards don't need additional power cables.

hope this comes useful.
