I'm buying a ATI 5770 1GB. Phenom II x4 955 black edition processor. 4gb ram (2x2gb), seagate barracuda 1tb 7400rpm, What is the PSU I need to run these? Please provide the costs too. :)

The HD 5770 typically uses 61w while gaming so the recommend Antec NEO ECO (which is built by Seasonic) is fine.

For Xfire two 5770 I would recommend a 550 -> 600 Watt PSU. 400 Watt - No. My System (w/5770) draws about 300 Watts running furmark. Adding a 2nd 5770 would put you at close to max and possibly slightly over.

Single GPU 5770

System in IDLE = 228 Watts
System with GPU in FULL Stress = 321 Watts
Difference (GPU load) = 93 Watt
Dual GPU 5770

System in IDLE = 249 Watts (= 21W added over single GPU)
System with GPU in FULL Stress = 423Watts
Difference (GPU load) = 174 Watt

I highly doubt it plus you risk the chance of damaging components.

hey friend am using his ati hd 5770 iceqv , and am in opinion with cooler master 550w(gx-series) is it good or not ???
March 2, 2011 3:39:51 PM

A 600W PSU would be more than quite enough for that even if you overclock all of that.

I guess you are using the crack version [non original], you must have used the wrong crack while cracking. Download crack online and crack again.
It'll work :)
