The first 80+ Platinum PSU for standard desktops is due to be on newegg this friday! And its a pretty awesome unit from the looks of its review.

Who here is going to move up to an 80+ platinum unit just to say they have one?
I know i thought 80+ gold units were expensive, it looks like this one is going to be even more so, $170 for a 550W unit is going to be a hefty price tag, but at least its a well built superflower unit so you are getting a solid unit and high efficiency for that price tag.
