Hi all,

I came across some offers on graphics cards, however I just cannot decide if and what to buy.

My system:
Phenom II X3 705e(2.5GHz) unlocked/overclocked to X4@3GHz
Geforce 8800GS 384MB
4GB RAM, 4x160GB Seagate 7200.12 RAID 10, 500GB Seagate 7200.12
PC Power and Cooling Silencer 500Watt PSU, 35A on single 12V rail

I usually play games at 1680x1050 (if I can). I haven't encountered a game I couldn't run but I usually have to use lower resolutions.

So I can choose between one of the following:
4850 512MB at 60 euros (~83$)
GTS 250, 1GB at 80 euros (~110$)
4890 1GB at 90 euros (125$, although I don't think my PSU can handle her)

Please note that those prices may not look special but are considered very good here in Greece.

Normally I wouldn't change my GPU until a relatively cheap DX11 card came around.
My questions are:
1) Do you think my PSU can handle these cards?
2) Will I see any great difference with the 4850 or the 250, over my 8800GS?
3) Do you consider that I have to skip and wait for an offer on a newer card?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the quick reply.

I know that the PCP&C is considered a good PSU but I am worried because ATI recommends a 500W PSU and I think mine is already loaded with the overclocked CPU (must be at 125W ~ Phenom II 940) and 5 HDs.
